Vermont

Michael and I have gone to Vermont and Pennsylvania since I last posted. We went to Vermont with some friends from our church. We camped close to the birthplace of Joseph Smith. Michael and I enjoyed kayaking, site-seeing and time with friends. First we made a slight detour to go into New Hampshire. We had never been there. We went to a fort from the French and Indian war period. The fort was equipped with all kinds of fortifications.

A view of the fort from the lookout tower.

Michael and I on the lookout tower.

I am standing ina dugout canoe. I am glad I didn't have to make it. Talk about a project!

Michael is standing in a bedroom with a cannon hole opening.

The Waterbury, VT reservoir where we went kayaking. I didn't get to take any pictures on the kayak because there was no where to put the camera.

We also went to the Joseph Smith Memorial. It was so beautiful and there were so many nice flowers. It was such a peacful and nice place to be to end a restful trip. Joseph Smith was a true prophet!
